Welcome to Islington Storage. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our storage services. By utilizing our facilities, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions
- "Service" refers to the storage solutions provided by Islington Storage.
- "Customer" means any individual or entity that enters into an agreement with Islington Storage for the use of storage facilities.
- "Agreement" denotes the contract between the Customer and Islington Storage outlining the terms of service.
2. Eligibility
To utilize our storage services, you must be at least 18 years old and possess the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. By agreeing to these terms, you confirm that you meet these eligibility criteria.
3. Storage Terms
3.1. Storage Units
Islington Storage offers various sizes of storage units to cater to different needs. Each unit is assigned based on availability and the Customer's requirements. The dimensions and specifications of each unit are detailed in the Unit Selection Guide.
3.2. Usage
Customers must ensure that all items stored comply with our prohibited items policy. Storage units are intended for goods that can be safely stored in a controlled environment. Hazardous materials, perishable items, and illegal substances are strictly forbidden.
3.3. Access
Customers are granted access to their storage units during specified hours, as outlined in their agreement. Unauthorized access or attempts to bypass security measures are prohibited and may result in termination of services.
4. Payment Terms
4.1. Fees
All storage fees must be paid in advance on a monthly basis unless otherwise agreed upon. Payment can be made via credit card, direct debit, or other approved methods. Late payments may incur additional charges as specified in the payment schedule.
4.2. Deposits
A security deposit may be required at the time of signing the agreement. This deposit is refundable upon termination of services, subject to the conditions outlined in Section 7.
5. Security and Safety
Islington Storage employs multiple security measures to protect your stored items. These include 24/7 surveillance cameras, secure entry systems, and on-site personnel. However, Islington Storage does not accept liability for loss or damage unless directly caused by negligence.
6. Liability
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their stored items are adequately insured. Islington Storage's liability is limited to the offerings specified in our Insurance Policy. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
7. Termination of Services
7.1. Cancellation
Customers may terminate their storage agreement by providing written notice at least 30 days in advance. Early termination may result in penalties as detailed in the contract.
7.2. Repossession
In cases of non-payment or violation of terms, Islington Storage reserves the right to repossess the stored items after providing appropriate notice. Recovered items may be sold to cover outstanding fees.
8. Changes to Terms
Islington Storage reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Islington Storage operates. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts.
10. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
11. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and Islington Storage regarding the use of our services. Any prior agreements, representations, or understandings are hereby superseded.
